Illusion Interactive ("we", "our", or "us") develops and publishes mobile games and applications. This Privacy Policy applies to our mobile games and applications, including Word Search & Chill, and explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use them.

Anonymous Accounts & Cloud Saves

Firebase Authentication automatically creates an anonymous player ID without requiring email or password registration. Cloud Firestore stores your game progress, rewards, preferences, and purchase entitlements against that ID so we can provide cloud saves and maintain your game state. “Anonymous” describes the sign-in method: these records can still be linked to the same player through the player ID and are not necessarily anonymous data.

Advertising

Our apps may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. Depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, and applicable law, these advertisements may be personalized or non-personalized. Personalized ads may be selected using information about your interests or activity. Non-personalized ads are not selected using your past behavior, although Google may still use identifiers or similar technologies for purposes such as frequency capping, aggregated ad reporting, security, and fraud prevention.

AdMob may process advertising identifiers where legally permitted, IP address, IP-derived approximate location, device and app information, and interactions with advertisements to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud.

Consent & Privacy Choices

Where required, we use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present privacy notices, request and record consent choices, and make privacy options available. Your choices may determine whether personalized, non-personalized, limited, or technical ads are served. Where an in-app privacy options entry point is available, you may use it to review or change your choices. You may also manage advertising identifiers, tracking permissions, and other app permissions through your device settings.

On iOS, you can allow or deny tracking when the system requests permission and change your choice in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Where Apple’s tracking permission is required, we respect that choice for tracking across other companies’ apps and websites and access to the advertising identifier. Advertising consent choices and iOS tracking permission are separate controls; applicable requirements for both must be met.

Analytics, Advertising Measurement & Diagnostics

We use Google Analytics for Firebase (Firebase Analytics) to understand how users interact with our apps. Firebase Analytics collects gameplay and purchase events, sessions, app interactions, engagement information, and device and app information. Gameplay and purchase events are also used for Google Ads targeting or conversion measurement, subject to applicable consent and tracking permissions. This helps us select advertising audiences and measure whether advertising leads to app activity or purchases.

The current iOS build of Word Search & Chill does not include Firebase Crashlytics and does not send crash reports through it. The app and its integrated SDKs process the device, app, installation, and service information described above to operate their features and diagnose technical issues. This technical information and analytics help us understand usage and troubleshoot problems; they do not imply that a dedicated crash-reporting SDK is included in every build.

Notifications & Gameplay Configuration

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications. It processes notification registration tokens, Firebase installation identifiers, and device and app metadata to route and deliver messages to your app installation. You can allow or disable notifications through your device’s notification settings for the app.

We use Firebase Remote Config to configure gameplay and app features. It uses device and app information, including installation identifiers, app version, and operating system information, to select and deliver configuration values for your app.

In-App Purchases

Our apps may offer in-app purchases. All purchases are processed securely by the respective platform providers:

We do not collect or store payment details such as credit card numbers. All payment information is handled directly by the platform providers.

We store transaction IDs, purchased products, and purchase entitlements to fulfil purchases, restore purchases such as No Ads, and analyze purchase activity. Purchase entitlements are associated with your anonymous player ID in Firestore. These app-held records are separate from the payment details and purchase records held by Apple or Google.

How We Use Information

Children’s Privacy

Word Search & Chill is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13, or below the applicable minimum age in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from such children. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information for money. We may disclose information to service providers and partners that help us operate, analyze, secure, and monetize our apps, including:

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Depending on where you live, disclosures for personalized or targeted advertising may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under applicable privacy law, and you may have the right to opt out.

Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; opt out of targeted advertising; or withdraw consent. You may also reset or limit advertising identifiers and manage app permissions through your device settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before the withdrawal.

Use the in-app account-deletion option to delete your anonymous account and associated game data, including saved progress, rewards, preferences, and app-held entitlements, subject to the retention exceptions below. Deleting the app from your device alone does not request deletion of cloud data.

Deleting game data does not delete purchase records held by Apple or Google and does not itself refund a purchase. If you previously purchased No Ads, use the app’s purchase-restoration option with the same store account to restore an eligible purchase. Restoration may recreate the app-held entitlement and related purchase record; it does not restore deleted gameplay progress.

Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our apps, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud. Retention periods may vary by data type and service provider. When information is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it where reasonably practicable.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
